The Boxhole meteorite is from the Boxhole Crater discovered in 1937 in Boxhole Australia at which time, metallic iron fragments were found. The impact is estimated to have occurred between 11,000 to 5,000 years ago which is relatively young in geological terms. The piece showcased in this necklace is an impressive dense and solid specimen, with a lovely reddish-brown patina. It is artistically accented with obsidian, green tourmaline, peacock ore, citrine, Padparadsha sapphire, and Mozambique garnet. The chain is 30” in length. This necklace comes in a gold gift box  with the meteorite certificate of authenticity.

Obsidian forms a shield against negativity, providing a grounding cord from the base chakra to the center of the earth. It absorbs negative energy from the environments and blocks psychic attack and negative spiritual influences.

Green Tourmaline, also known as Verdelite, is a crystal of energy and stamina. It is excellent for anyone in occupations where rigorous activity is required.

Peacock Ore is also known as Bornite - it's a copper iron sulfide mineral which tarnishes to iridescent shades of blue, purple, green and gold. Peacock Ore is an uplifting stone of happiness and said to guide one towards creative and positive paths.

Citrine is a crystal of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. Carrying the power of the sun, it is warm and comforting, energizing and life giving. It stimulates the chakras like the sunlight of spring, clearing the mind and stirring the soul to action.

Padparadscha sapphire is a special variety of sapphire from Sri Lanka, featuring a delicate color that is a mixture of pink and orange – a marriage between ruby and yellow sapphire.  Some describe the gem's hues as if the pink Sri Lankan lotus flower could reflect the orange of a golden sunset.

Garnet is the embodiment of the energies of fire, passion, and strength. Mozambique garnet is a beautiful gemstone from Mozambique, Africa that often appears like a dark ruby.
